Make Me A Bicycle, Clown.
I'm back! It's been a real time of transition but I'm getting back to the things that I love, and am finally starting to post again (on BYGM and my other blog AYENx). To celebrate, here is Kico Kids' nostalgic and totally awesome S/S11 campaign & collection.

Super Fine.
So I was on Pinterest (happy place) the other day and came across a photo with that insane rainbow burst pillow in it. My eyes and heart bugged out and I went on a little search. Dude, I love the internet. I feel like a regular Sherlock Holmes thanks to back-links, blog comments and Google image search. Come to find it's made by Swedish (of course) creative genius Elisabeth Dunker. Her blog is like a juicy mouthful of Swedish Fish and her shop is even more delicious. Enjoy.

Back to Basics.
I am... shall I say... over American Apparel. They're so drinking their own kool-aid, raising their prices like they included a gold nugget with every piece, and the quality just isn't that great. But they always seemed to be the only ones doing super simple, soft, cotton basics for the little guys. Not anymore. Hello Phoenix and Nola! Comfy, softy, stripey (and solid) tops, bottoms & one-pieces that are straight out of Brooklyn and killing it. (Sigh of relief).

Toobydoo.
NYC based kids' atelier TOOBY*DOO makes the loveliest little duds. And they don't mess around... it's all refined cotton cashmere and caviar dreams when it comes to making these gorgeous pieces. Modern. Refined. Playful. Have a look and see if you can resist. I could not. Have you seen their BABY stuff? Come on.

Mister Freedom x JCrew Kids.
I have a grand respect for whoever at JCrew made this collab happen. Mister Freedom (Chirstophe Loiron) crafts and sells his wares (original and vintage) in an unassuming white brick building on Beverly Boulevard in LA. He's become something of an icon in the apparel industry and rightly so. His techniques and pieces are uniquely and wonderfully his own, and his eye for vintage is one to be coveted. JCrew upped their ante by letting Christophe have his way with not only their adult collection, but the kids' line too. Amazing.
Stripes Stripes Stripes, I Love Stripes.
