Back to Basics.
I am... shall I say... over American Apparel. They're so drinking their own kool-aid, raising their prices like they included a gold nugget with every piece, and the quality just isn't that great. But they always seemed to be the only ones doing super simple, soft, cotton basics for the little guys. Not anymore. Hello Phoenix and Nola! Comfy, softy, stripey (and solid) tops, bottoms & one-pieces that are straight out of Brooklyn and killing it. (Sigh of relief).

Cushy Candy Colored Feet Sweeteners.
I have one word for you: NATIVE (or: Brilliantly-awesome-Croc-replacements). These things are a-mazing. And they make them for us grownups too. Just in time for Spring.

You Are My Wild.
Every so often there comes along a super rad kids' & babies' apparel collection this good (see Accoustic Kid), and it makes me seriously wish I was 3 feet tall. Enter Australian brand, Munster Kids. You just have to see it for yourself. It's ridiculous.

Acoustic Kid Spring 2011 Collection Rocks.
Just a little sneak preview of Acoustic Kid's perfect SP11 line. Co-founded (with partner Ashleigh) and designed by my friend Melissa (whose background in Men's, Women's and children's wear design is something to be revered), there is no lack in quality and attention to detail. Simple classics with a touch of modern, this stuff is just straight-up well done, and so adorable. When you're looking at kids' clothes going, "I wish that came in my size", you know you've come across something solid.
