There are days when I want to jump out of my little seat because I come across something so great it makes me giddy. This is one of those days. Atsuyo et Akiko. J'Taime!

Super Fine.

So I was on Pinterest (happy place) the other day and came across a photo with that insane rainbow burst pillow in it. My eyes and heart bugged out and I went on a little search. Dude, I love the internet. I feel like a regular Sherlock Holmes thanks to back-links, blog comments and Google image search. Come to find it's made by Swedish (of course) creative genius Elisabeth Dunker. Her blog is like a juicy mouthful of Swedish Fish and her shop is even more delicious. Enjoy.

Little Bedfellows.

I was down at our local little paperie card shop with my Mom & Z this afternoon and came across these rad little Thomas Paul Antique Toy collection pillows. They're super soft and adorable, and the backs have the best vintage inspired fabrics / patterns. I am not a cat fan but I particularly dig little miss disgruntled kitty. So cute.

Climb Into Bed.

Kids might give up candy and tv to get to climb around on and sleep in this thing. The Treehouse Bed (and supercutie accoutrements) are brought to you by Cyprus-based, high-concept, A-mazing kids' furniture company Lifetime Kids Rooms. All of their wood furniture is made of sustainable pine from northern Scandinavia, which grows slowly in difficult climatic conditions. Long story short, this creates a strong wood that is best suited for making superstrong kids' furniture. Jonathan Adler Roars. (Happy 9 Month Birthday, Z!)

Zeph is 9 months young today and motoring everywhere through the house. Thought I'd post an homage to my little roaring lion with some of Jonathan Adler's amazingly bitchin work.

Modern Fun Happy.

I'm kind of crushing on Japan these days. Yuko Uemura's shop Pata Pri makes you feel like you've been invited over for tea and a snuggle. She hand prints all of her wares (mostly kitchen towels, and some amazing, cozy, quadruple-gauze baby blankets), and fancies 100% cotton and scrumptious linen. The prints, the colors, the vintage washed quality all make my heart skip a few beats.

I can't tell whether I'm overjoyed when I find companies like this or totally bitter that I'm not Japanese. Maybe a little sprinkling of both. Truck Furniture makes - wait for it - amazing custom furniture, yes. But they also sell some bitchin zakka, a few hand crafted toys and select pieces from some of my most favorite Japanese kids' lines. They're just really effortlessly good.
