Handmade in France.

Yes yes. Garlands are everywhere's everywhere. But I can't help myself. Mi Avril is the online shop of textile designer Virginie Sannier (also known as Maize). She creates these little paper confections by hand. Her palettes are impossibly lovely. And I can't get enough of the fact that she's French. So cute! x

Just a few gorgeous, whimsical and mod-orable prints from Bay Area designers Sarah Labieniec and Ryan Meis of Lab Partners. Amazing for the kiddo's room or your living room.

Tis the Season. (It's November already??)

Hello old friend! We're back from Mexico, successfully celebrated Halloween and now - unbelievably, it's already holiday season. To kick it off, let's talk holiday cards. I came across Minted recently and am all kinds of joyful. I've been sort of feeling this obligation to send out a photo holiday card now that we are a family of 3. But I've never been a fan of the flimsy, not-that-cute-printed-on-photo-paper ones you typically see. Minted offers a superlovely departure with their rad, original layouts & color options. And the cards are printed on thick paper stock. Love it.

Layers of French Goodness.

When I was a little lass, my best friend's mom used to have us sit and do collages ... most likely to keep us out of trouble (eating dirt, feeding gum to the beagle, learning dirty jokes from the 13 year olds we idolized next door, whathaveyou), and I really loved it. When I came across French artist Guylaine Couture's amazing collage work, I was reminded of that time. It's simple and messy and random and perfect all at once. Go gather some different papers and materials and repurpose them for your own little family collage party. Adventure is born.

Go shorty, it's your birthday.

I've been kind of hot on Rifle Paper Co as of late. But I can't help it. Their stuff is so good. This little set puts the Happy in Birthday, with a simply illustrated little cherry on top.

My dear friend, incredibly creative little lady Joanna Ramage creates these custom photographic alphabets and birth announcements like it's no thang. She has such a great eye and whimsical spirit. Get your very own Zeppe original.
